Farmer Producer Company registered under Companies Act, 2013
Benefits:
The Farmer producer company which has entered into an agreement with buyer and works in above mentioned value chain projects will get 60% subsidy from smart project for Capital cost like construction, equipment, machinery and preoperative expenses (5% of project cost with ceiling limit of Rs. 25 lakhs). Eligibility of funding will be decided on basis of cost norms of central and state schemes.
How to apply:
- The farmer producer company should be legally registered under Companies Act, 2013. (Company Incorporation certificate)
- The audited reports by the Chartered Accountant (CA).
- The farmer producer company must have minimum 150 shareholders / members.(Shareholders of a farmer's produce company should be registered with the Registrar of Companies-ROC )
- The audit report of the organization should not contain significant accounting objections. The institution should not be a defaulter of any loan.
- In one of the last 3 years, the turnover should be more than Rs 5.00 lakh in the audit report of the Chartered Accountant (CA).
- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) should be signed with the buyer.
- As per circular dated 17.01.2024, Net worth Certificate and Bank appraisal letter along with project concept note
The Farmer Producer Company fulfilling these criteria should submit the above documents to the office of the District Animal Husbandry Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district.
