The Maharashtra Right to Public Services Act, 2015, enacted on April 28, 2015, aims to ensure that citizens receive notified public services from Government Departments in a transparent, prompt, and time-bound manner. In accordance with this Act, the Animal Husbandry Department is committed to delivering its services efficiently and with full accountability at every level.
Citizens can find detailed information about the services offered under this Act through the ‘Aaple Sarkar’ web portal. These platforms also allow for easy online applications for the listed services.
In the event of undue delay or denial of services without valid reasons, citizens have the right to appeal. A First and Second Appeal can be submitted to senior officers within the department. If needed, a Third and Final Appeal may be made before the designated Commission.
