National Livestock Mission
The focus of the scheme is on entrepreneurship development and breed improvement in poultry, sheep, goat and piggery including feed and fodder development.
The scheme is implemented with the following three Sub-Missions:

The sub-mission proposes to bring sharp focus on entrepreneurship development and breed improvement in poultry, sheep, goat and piggery by providing the incentivization to the individual, FPOs, SHGs, Section 8 companies for entrepreneurship development and also to the State Government for breed improvement infrastructure.
This sub-mission aims towards strengthening of fodder seed chain to improve availability of certified fodder seed required for fodder production and encouraging entrepreneurs for establishment of fodder Block/Hey Bailing/Silage Making Units through incentivisation.
The sub-mission aims to incentivize the Institutes, Universities, Organizations carring out research and development related to sheep, goat, pig and feed and fodder sector, extension activities, livestock insurance and innovation.
Schemes under National Livestock Mission

Beneficiary : Individual, Self-help Group, Farmer Producer Company, Farmer Co-operative Society, Collective Liability Group and Company registered under Rule 8, Beneficiary application and selection process through Online mode on the portal www.udyamimitra.in
Benefit : Establishment of Poultry rearing and hatching unit of at least 1,000 parent birds along with mother unit (low input technology), One time 50 percent capital subsidy up to a maximum limit of Rs. 25.00 lakhs per unit (in two equal instalments)

Beneficiary: Individual, Self-help Group, Farmer Producer Company, Farmer Co-operative Society, Collective Liability Group and Company registered under Rule 8, Beneficiary application and selection process through Online mode on the portal www.udyamimitra.in
Benefit : Establishing a unit of 500 goats/ sheep + 25 bucks/ rams, 50 % capital subsidy of Rs. 50.00 lakhs (in two equal instalments), Subsidiary grant available as per smaller units like 400+20, 300+15, 200+10, 100+5

Beneficiary: Individual, Self-help Group, Farmer Producer Company, Farmer Co-operative Society, Collective Liability Group and Company registered under Rule 8,Beneficiary application and selection process through Online mode on the portal www.udyamimitra.in
Benefit : Establishing a unit of minimum 100 sow and 25 boars breeding animals, 50 percent capital subsidy of Rs.30.00 lakhs (in two equal instalments), Subsidiary grant available as per smaller unit 50+5 with capital subsidy of Rs. 15 lakh
